DidaCubes is an excellent tool for teaching students how to code. Watching what happens to different modules is fun for everyone and makes coding a hands-on experience! Pairing code with visible actions also inspires students to see the importance of computer programming in their daily lives and beyond.
What if learning is intuitive and as fun as playing? DidaCubes allows students to learn coding, with fun projects, intuitive applications, and user-friendly smart modules for all. This curriculum is divided into two components: Learn to Code which will provide students the fundamental concepts to program the DidaCubes processors and modules while having fun! Code to Learn uses what students have already learned, giving them tips and ideas on how to integrate DidaCubes into Math, Science, Art and other subjects using simple, easy to assemble and code projects
Why Learn to Code?
A basic understanding of coding is already an enormous asset (it is essential in many professions) and this trend is only increasing. Teaching students to code not only allows them to make video games and control robots, but also teaches them advanced problem-solving skills by teaching them how to break down large problems into smaller ones. Why Code to Learn?
These lessons capitalize on the awesome strengths of the DidaCubes hardware and software, making solid connections to the curriculum. The lessons allow students to design, discover, and or display their curriculum knowledge using coding proficiency gained in the lesson. They also help to ground abstract concepts such as variables, probability, and more in fun and engaging activities. Follow the link below to preview our Code to Learn lesson library.
