Description

In this lesson, students will complete a challenge to examine the houses of the three little pigs, and then build a house for a fourth little pig using better, stronger materials that will be more durable against external forces.

Objectives

• Learn about the relative strengths of materials, namely hay, wood, or brick.
• Learn how to judge the strengths of potentially better materials.
• Learn how certain structures are stronger against certain forces due to their design.
