Description:

Students will now have the basic knowledge of P2, XCS and laser processing. The pedagogical objective of this lesson will be more challenging. They need to understand and control the camera in P2 to make more laser work in different sizes. Then inserting texts and exploring relative techniques in XCS to make their laser work more interesting. This might be the first time they will use semi-finished materials in their laser projects.

Objectives:

By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:

  • Insert texts and adjust parameters in XCS
  • Freely switch the distant view and close view according to the size of the material
  • Feel the different laser engraving process parameters and effects in XCS
  • Engrave texts on different materials successfully
