Reading and Comprehending Text: Goldi-Dash and the Three Bears (Gr. 1-2)
Description
In this lesson, students will demonstrate reading comprehension by responding to Goldilocks and the Three Bears and then inserting Dash into the story as “Goldi-Dash.” Students will plan a “decision path” formatted like a road intersection. Each direction will represent an alternative decision Goldilocks *could* have made under the same circumstances. Students will then create two different programs for Goldi-Dash to follow based on each decision path. (This lesson could be used with any grade-appropriate literature).
