Probability: Flipping and Rolling with Dash! (Gr. 6-8)
Description
In this lesson, using Dash’s variable feature, students will determine the probability of choosing random numbers in a 50/50 setting and a 35/65 setting.
Objectives
- Define probability
- Run trials of experiments to determine the probability of a variety of events
- Convert results as a fraction and a decimal
- Track and report data effectively
- Compare and contrast a variety of data sets
- Predict the results of a probability problem using estimation
- Practice using conditionals and variables in the Blockly app
