Path: Dash's Neighbourhood (Gr. K-1)

Description

In this lesson, students will identify what Dash’s neighbors are feeling. They will then plan a program for Dash to visit the neighbors and build the program in the Path app.

Objectives

  • Learn the meaning of the term algorithm
  • Use emotional intelligence to identify feeling words that represent pictures
  • Plan and write a program using the Path app
  • Build oral language skills
  • Use one-to-one correspondence

Lesson Procedure

  • Class 1: Meet Dash's Neighbours (30 minutes)
  • Class 2: Dash's Neighbourhood (30 minutes)
