Narrative Writing: Dot Search (Gr. 3-5)
Description
In this lesson, students will write a narrative with Dash and Dot as the main characters. Students will then develop code to demonstrate their written narrative. Finally, students will present their code and narrative to the class.
Objectives
- Write a narrative using grade-appropriate grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Compare and contrast programs that we write in Blockly to narratives that we read and write
- Design a program that tells a story following a story map
- Design a program that includes Dash finding Dot using sensors and a custom sound
