mBot 2.0: A Network Game (Gr. 3-8)

In this lesson, students will learn about LAN or Local Area Network and how they work. The mBot2, with its built-in WIFI module, automatically establishes a network connection as soon as there are multiple mBot2 or CyberPi in the same room within a 30-meter radius. Students will learn how the mBot2 and CyberPi can communicate with each other and execute commands over this network connection.

  • Students will learn what a LAN connection is
  • Students will learn how to set up this connection and where to apply it
  • Students will learn how random selection works when programming
