Dash & Dot: Dashing Off with Rates and Speeds (Gr. 4-6)
Description
In this lesson, students will be using the Tickle App to compare and contrast the speed that Dash moves on different surfaces with different speeds selected.
Objectives
- To write an algorithm for Dash to move a at different speeds for a given time
- To measure the distance Dash travels in each time period
- To calculate the rate at which Dash travels
- To compare and contrast the distance and rate at which Dash travels on variety of surfaces
