CS First - Algebra (Gr. 7-9)
Description
This lesson, designed for grade 7 to 9 teachers, will help you integrate CS First activities to supplement your current Mathematics unit. You and your students will explore 5 Algebra math lessons that not only help develop the ability to code and learn mathematics, but also to enhance problem solving and creativity. During these lessons students will explore Algebra concepts starting with learning what a variable is and building up to learning how coding and algebra is related.

By the end of this lesson students will:
- Learn what a Variable is
- Be able to make guesses by patterns
- Learn about linear relationships and coding lines
- Learn how to balance equations with integers
- Learn how to match stories to graph lines
