Addition: Add It Up with Dot! (Gr. 1-2)

Description

In this lesson, students will get to know Dash and Dot while being introduced to the ideas of robotics and programming.

Objectives

  • Identify that adding a number to another number increases the total value
  • Become familiar with basic addition facts
  • Construct basic addition problems using Dot’s Eye Pattern lights
  • Design a sequence of code using Blockly
