A1: Hello Tale-Bot! (K-1)

Description:

In this introductory lesson, students will experiment with the Tale-Bot robot and begin to learn about the functions of each of its buttons. They will also be exposed to the idea of what is meant by “code” or “coding”.

Objectives:

  • Describe the functions of each of the buttons on Tale-Bot
  • Learn about the importance of coding and programming
  • Collaborate with other students as they program a Tale-Bot robot
  • Challenge each other to program a sequence of movements for the Tale-Bot to follow
