Unit 2: Lesson 2: Understand and Brainstorm

Description

Students will learn about the different types of games they can create for their project, choose one with their group, and then brainstorm ideas for their game. They will also work as a group to better understand what it means to design a game for a specific audience. They will be guided by activities in the Unit 2 Design Process Notebook.

Objectives

  • Look at the similarities in the structure of Unit 1 and 2
  • Self identify as an audience member and use that understanding to empathize with other potential players
  • Complete the Project Pathways: Understand and Pick a Project activities in their Design Process Notebook
